The next major software update to Apple’s iPhone, the iPhone X, is set to arrive on Wednesday.
In a blog post on the Apple Developer Blog, Apple revealed the release date for the next-generation iPhone.
The latest iPhone X comes with a 5.5-inch screen, which Apple says “will look even better with the help of more pixels than before.”
The device will also include the next generation of Apple Pay, with a new fingerprint scanner and new Touch ID fingerprint recognition technology.
The update is expected to be the biggest software update for the iPhone in a while.
Last week, the company teased a new version of Apple Music for iOS 8, which is set for release in November.
Apple is expected start rolling out new versions of the iPhone and iPad over the next few months.
Apple’s software updates will be delivered through an update cycle, meaning the next version of the software is likely to arrive in the fall or early winter.
