The latest earnings report for Jaxons Java Suite was released on Wednesday.
The Jaxoni platform earned $1.2 billion in revenue, which is a 2.3% increase from last year.
The software division is up a whopping 6.5% from last quarter, which has been a slow month for the Java platform.
The revenue rose by about 2.7% compared to the previous quarter.
The Java platform is now generating a net income of $1 billion, up from $1,300 million a year ago.
Jaxon, which was acquired by Oracle in 2013, has been the most profitable of Oracle’s Java and open source offerings.
Oracle had revenue of $4.6 billion in the third quarter of 2016, and Jaxos revenue was up by 8.7%.
Oracle has been selling Java licenses to other companies, including Intel and SAP.
